A "Speaker/Evaluator" exchange provides an excellent opportunity for individual member growth in support of the Rotary and Toastmasters Alliance.
How Does it Work?
Toastmasters will invite Rotarians to a Toastmasters meeting as a guest speaker, or provide a Rotarian an opportunity to practice working on their communication and leadership modules.
Rotary members will need assistance on the following:
- Understanding the communication and leadership modules
- Preparing for their presentations
- Learning how to evaluate presentations
- A place to practice speaking
Benefits of Rotary clubs reaching out and inviting Toastmasters:
- Toastmasters members can provide speeches on specific topics
- Toastmasters members can visit a Rotary meeting to evaluate a Rotary speaker
- Toastmasters members will learn more about the Rotary "Causes"
- Toastmasters members will have an opportunity to volunteer to assist with Rotary Causes
