Relations, Keystone Toastmasters
On May 2, 2026, leaders and changemakers from across Oklahoma and beyond will gather for the 2025–2026 Rotary District 6110 Conference at the Renaissance Hotel, Tulsa, OK. This annual event is more than a celebration of service—it is a catalyst for growth, innovation, and leadership. One place you will want to visit is the Rotary–Toastmasters Alliance Booth, where collaboration meets transformation.
As someone who
proudly holds membership in both Rotary District 6110 and District 16 Oklahoma Toastmasters, and who has served in leadership roles within each
organization, I have seen firsthand how powerful this alliance can be when
clubs and members fully embrace it.
Why
the Rotary–Toastmasters Alliance Matters
Rotary and
Toastmasters share a common belief: strong leaders create strong communities.
Rotary focuses on service above self, while Toastmasters specializes in
building confident communicators and capable leaders. Together, these missions
form a natural partnership.
According to
the official Rotary–Toastmasters Alliance resources, the collaboration exists
to provide members of both organizations with expanded opportunities for leadership
development, communication excellence, and community impact. Rotary members
gain structured pathways to improve public speaking and meeting facilitation,
while Toastmasters members gain meaningful platforms to apply their skills in
service-oriented leadership roles.
This is not
theory—it is a proven, documented partnership that has helped clubs grow
stronger, more engaging, and more effective in telling their stories and
advancing their causes.
What
You’ll Discover at the Alliance Booth
The Rotary–Toastmasters
Alliance Booth at the District 6110 Conference is designed to be practical,
interactive, and inspiring. Its purpose is clear:
“Discover
how the Rotary–Toastmasters Alliance strengthens leaders, amplifies service,
and elevates every member’s ability to communicate with confidence.”
At the booth,
attendees will be able to:
- Explore tools and training
pathways that connect Toastmasters Pathways with Rotary learning and
leadership opportunities.
- Learn how joint initiatives can increase
member engagement and retention.
- Discover ways Toastmasters clubs
can support Rotary clubs—and vice versa—through shared meetings,
workshops, and special programs.
- Ask real-world questions and
receive answers from someone actively serving in leadership roles in both
organizations.
Everything
shared at the booth is grounded in documented alliance resources and successful
implementations that clubs can adopt immediately.

From
Collaboration to Action
The
Rotary–Toastmasters Alliance is not a passive agreement; it is a call to
collaborate. Clubs that lean into the alliance often report stronger
meetings, more confident presenters, and members who are better equipped to
lead projects, tell their Rotary stories, and engage the public.
As outlined in
alliance documentation, these benefits extend beyond individual skill-building.
They help Rotary clubs become more attractive to prospective members, more
inclusive in their leadership pipelines, and more impactful in their
communities.
